Judge delays Occupy Seattle eviction

A Thurston County Superior Court judge has delayed the eviction of Occupy Seattle campers from the Seattle Central Community College campus until at least next Friday.

Judge Lisa Sutton ordered the ouster can’t take place until after a hearing at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 2, when the protesters will argue that they should be allowed to stay permanently.

The college’s board of trustees voted earlier Wednesday to evict the campers as early as next week.
